A simple song that starts with a mandolin playing a simple ostinato then followed by a basic piano theme.  The real energy comes from the strings and percussion.

The main percussion is from two little drums hand drums.  They both produce beautiful overtones when played unmuted, but here they are muted with a drink coaster providing a much brighter sound mimicking a horse galloping.

The final phrase  ends right now with just the solo violin and cello accompanied by the piano for no other reason than it’s not finished.  A completed version will be posted soon.

The solo strings and piano are from Garritan.  The violin and cello libraries are discontinued, but are currently being revamped.  They are by far some of the most convincing VI’s out there.  The piano is the Authorized Steinway, which was generously provided by Gary Garritan.
